Bluefin Championship Saturday 02/11/19 PORTADOWN 3 - 0 KNOCKBREDA For the first time this season Breda started a game without manager Lee Forsythe at the helm. Despite recent results Breda's players did not shirk responsibility , getting on the ball and consistently playing a passing game matching the hosts early on and creating a couple chances. Breda did however fall behind on 20 minutes when a great cross was headed in from 6 yards with an avoidable second goal following 5 minutes later. Breda however stuck to their passing game and were well in the game with centre back Karl Hamill just failing to connect properly with a ball which dropped to him in the home 6 yard box. Breda conceded a third goal on 78 minutes but , credit to all involved , a very encouraging performance. Next up for Breda a home League game v Ballyclare Comrades on Saturday 09/11/19 at Breda Park. Please note the kick off time for this game is 2pm.
